Fair Finance Coalition Southern Africa (FFCSA)'s newly launched new case study examines the impacts of the internationally financed Medupi Coal Power Station. The report titled “Living in Medupi’s Shadow: Stories from Lephalale” sheds light on the role of development finance institutions in the development and construction of Medupi and the ramifications of the mega project on the communities of Lephalale, Limpopo, who face severe poverty and socio-economic adversity.
