Fair Finance Peru study "The Amazon Initiative and the promotion of the bioeconomy of the Inter-American Development Bank"

Fair Finance Peru member Derecho, Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (DAR) published a report on "The Amazon Initiative and the promotion of the bioeconomy of the Inter-American Development Bank". The report analyzes the experience of Peru through a bioeconomy loan case, recognizing the opportunities and risks that this type of model represents for the indigenous population. It also proposes recommendations so that the planning of these financial mechanisms incorporates the participation and experience of indigenous peoples in the face of climate and environmental crises, so that the funds are relevant to the capacities and current context of the Amazon.
